Course Description:
The NC TIER II GRANTS (Tier II) - provide funds for hazardous materials emergency response planning, training, and exercises. The Tier II grants may provide Local Emergency Planning Committees with funding and more options to expand the scope of their hazardous materials emergency preparedness programs though response planning, training and related exercises to include fixed facility planning.

Understand the entire grant cycle from perspective of subrecipient: application -> award -> MOA/grant agreement -> requests for reimbursement -> required reporting -> closeout.

Course/Module Description:
Question and answer session on all NCEM Preparedness Grants (federal and state) including: EMPG, HSGP, NSGP, SLCGP, HMEP, Tier II, CBCG, NC 2-1-1. The Branch Manager and Grants Administrators /Subject Matter Experts will be available onsite to aid and answer questions.
Target Audience:
Recipients of NCEM Preparedness Grants, to include financial officers, project managers and points of contact.
Goal:
To provide sub-recipients the opportunity to discuss grants, ask grant related questions with Grants Managers and Grants Branch Manager within the training week.
